How does BetHawk work?

What is BetHawk?

BetHawk is an automated value betting software which identifies and places bets for you on 20+ bookmakers.

The Strategy

What is value betting?

Value betting is a strategy where bets are placed with bookmakers if the odds they are offering are significantly higher than the odds offered on accurate betting exchanges, such as Betfair Exchange.
The reason why users profit from this long-term is that you're getting higher odds than what that bet is really worth. Long-term, you would expect your profits to line up with the amount of 'value' you are getting - how much higher your odds are than those on the exchange.

What BetHawk will do on your device

1. Opening bookmaker websites

When you first run BetHawk in the day, it will obtain the links for all of the races in the day from the homepage of each of your selected bookmakers.
BetHawk will then use these links to open the page for a race 4-15 minutes before it starts, so everything is ready to identify and place value bets.

2. Logging into bookmaker websites

In order to place bets, you need to be logged into the websites of your selected bookmakers.
BetHawk does this for you with our auto-login feature, which uses the auto-fill of Google Password Manager to fill your details in for you and click log-in by simulating input on the screen.
NOTE: BetHawk can't read your passwords, hence why they must be managed by Google Password Manager for auto-login to work.

3. Identifying value bets

BetHawk reads the odds from bookmakers' websites and compares them with live odds data from Betfair Exchange to identify value bets.
The odds we use are real-time to maximise the number of value betting opportunities.

4. Placing value bets

When a value bet has been identified, BetHawk will simulate input in the Google Chrome window to place the bet for you.
This makes the process fully automatic - you can leave it running all day, in the background.

5. Hedging

Hedging is an optional feature which provides a different value betting experience.
Whereas value betting involves just placing a bet with the bookmakers, hedging is an extra step which involves placing an additional lay bet on Betfair Exchange.
BetHawk does this for you automatically, and has a similar effect to cashing-out a bet for a profit. Hedging results in a smaller, but guaranteed, profit on a value bet no-matter the result of the race.

6. Tracking your bet history

BetHawk provides a bet tracker which shows you your profit history for all value bets placed.
Detailed information about your value bets, including the % value, is summarised in a table. Your profit history is also displayed as a graph.
